Aldourie Castle

Aldourie Castle is a historic baronial castle situated on the southern banks of Loch Ness, 6 miles from the City of Inverness. An American company paid £1,200,000 for the castle and 400 acres of land including direct access to Loch Ness .

In 1996 the castle hosted the premiere party for the film Loch Ness starring Ted Danson and Joely Richardson.
